Now I write from the life that stands after the fire—from the distilled center where presence becomes its own form of medicine.

Who I Am—Now
Throughout my life, I moved through many incarnations. Each shaped me; none defined me.
What I am now is simpler.
A woman who listens.
A woman who writes.
A woman who tends.
A woman who observes.
A woman who remembers.
And if there is one thread through every chapter, it is this: some quiet, unbroken instinct in me refused the bridle. It chose truth over performance, freedom over expectation—not as rebellion, but recognition.
Not dramatic. Simply lived.
I’m American by origin, shaped for many years in Boulder, Colorado—the place where The Ananda Apothecary™ was built and where its final chapter closed. When the apothecary ended, the architecture of my life dissolved and reformed. Something else opened.
Love eventually found me in Monaco. Through that union, I entered a principality defined by elegance, discretion, and lineage. It steadied me when nothing else could.
And yet, after loss and reinvention, I needed something Monaco couldn’t give me: silence, air, and a landscape left to its own intelligence.
One afternoon, on a countryside detour, I found an old stone farmhouse from the 1800s in rural Occitanie. Neglected. Off-grid. Resting above vineyards that birth Blanquette. The land was ancient, unvarnished, maternal in its stillness—raw, elemental, free.
The pull was immediate.
So I chose both worlds: the refinement of Monaco, and the honest reclamation of self in Occitanie. Among vines that rest, root, and return in their own season, I did the same.
Dormant. Listening. Rebirthing.
It is from here—from the quiet between two worlds—that I write now.
